I am past tired, now it is a way of life. Not one I am fond of mind you.
The kiddos are stir crazy and there is no semblance of normal happening around here it seems.
But, there is a bright side. We have prayed as a family and as a couple more in these past two months than any other in a long time. Don't get me wrong, we pray quite a bit in our family. Prayer is powerful!!! But I mean we have been strong proponents of 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing." these past two months. This includes praying everywhere. And so often I start prayers in my head, break to say something to the kiddos, and then just continue on with the prayer again.
God has taken the results of sin and a fallen world and used them to mold our character and bring us closer to Him. Our children ask to pray about everything now. It is beautiful to see. Caleb is offering to pray for anyone who even has a little owie and reminding us that we need to thank God for answering so many of the prayers we send His way.
So I am choosing to cling to this. To remind myself of God's power to heal, to restore the bone tired and to use hard times to mold our hearts and our children's hearts into hearts that are so full of Him they overflow onto everyone we talk to.
This helps me clean up more barf, change more diapers and drag myself out of bed again and again. Oh, and don't get me started on the laundry. Ugh!

Lordy mercy. I feel your pain girl. I will be thinking of your family today and hold onto hope...warmer weather should be on it's way!!!
you poor, poor girl! i admire you for just plugging away even when you've been hit so hard this season. Will keeps asking if "caleb, his best buddy" is better yet so he can play together! :) And now we have fevers, coughs and runny noses! maybe next week!
