Here are the books from our Easter Unit. We enjoyed most of these, but by far our whole family's favorite was "Benjamin's Box" by Melody Carlson. We used this book in conjunction with a set of Resurrection Eggs from Family Life. WOW! I just cannot praise this book enough. Caleb loved the Benjamin stories, loved getting to open an egg for each day and anticipated getting to read this book each night before bed. We will definitely do this again next year.

We also used a Holy Week Devotional Family Activity Plan I found online. Each day we read a section from one of Caleb's children's Bibles and then did the activity listed for that day. There were many different activities: baking palm leaf cookies, making a worshipful place, washing each other's feet, making a cross from nails and many more.
Caleb's Sunday school was also learning about the Easter Story; so we reviewed all of his take home pages and his Bible verse as well.
I did not take pictures during this unit. Caleb had lots of questions and we spent lots of time in prayer and discussion during this one. So I just did not have time to put the camera to use. But, we really enjoyed our time together as a family and learning about the awesome love and grace of our Saviour.
